Shared-flat coordination
Roomade turns the group chat into a board: issues to fix, money to split, and things people need to know, pinned, not buried.
Issue
Been going since Tuesday, driving Priya up the wall.
Spend
Split four ways. Toilet paper, oat milk, the good coffee.
Heads-Up
Arriving Friday night, gone by Sunday lunch.
Get on the board
We'll email you when Roomade opens up.
The problem
Every flat has a group chat holding it together, until the thing you actually need is buried under a meme, a “who has the spare key,” and three days of silence. Nothing has a status. Nothing resolves. It just scrolls.
The board
Something to fix or buy. One person claims it, and it's resolved when it's done. Reopen it if it isn't, really.
A shared expense, split equally. Everyone's share is tracked paid or unpaid, individually, so no more guessing who still owes for Costco.
A text announcement, like “guest staying overnight,” that kind of thing. No resolve workflow, just an acknowledgement so you know it's been seen.
Settle up
Every Spend card feeds one running total per household member. Mark your share paid when you've actually paid it. Roomade tracks who owes what, it doesn't move the money for you.
Net balances
Getting started
One person creates it in a minute, name it, and it's ready for the rest of the flat.
Send the link or hold up the QR code. Everyone who joins sees the same board.
An issue, a spend, a heads-up, whatever's live right now. The activity feed keeps everyone caught up on what changed while they were out.
Where things stand
Nothing to install yet. Something to save your spot for.
Early TestFlight invites go to the waitlist first.
FAQ
Is it free?
Yes, for now. There's no pricing plan while Roomade is in early access.
When does it launch?
We don't have a fixed date yet. Waitlist signups get the first TestFlight invites.
Is it iOS only?
For now, yes. It's a native iPhone app; Android and web aren't in scope yet.
Does it actually move money?
No. Settle Up tracks who owes what. You still settle up however your flat already pays each other.
How is this different from a group chat or Splitwise?
A group chat has no status and no memory. Splitwise only does the money. Roomade puts issues, spends, and heads-ups on one board, each with its own status.
What do you do with my email?
Just used to invite you to early access. See our Privacy Policy for details.
